Sorry....my religious upbringing damaged my life in ways you will only come to know about, perhaps, when I am gone, but this one truth,this one person,this one God, has never lied to me and has always loved me...and if not for THAT TRUTH, I would not be here and you would have been spared this conversation. I may have been just an idiot housewife and mother all my life, but this one thing I DO know...His love for me....and my love for you.
No doubt there is a god and he is good. But when you talk about "men in their stupidity and limited vision create and call truth" should include parts of the bible. Not saying the bible isnt true, but that all aspects of it are only stories made up by men. And if all aspects of it are not true dosent it make you worry/wonder about the parts that are true?
Nope. Because I believe that God spoke and does speak thru men, as stupid and limited though they are, He did, does, and will speak through them...how else would we listen? He has tried lots of ways to get through to us....He tries even now....listening is the part we don't or won't or don't want to get!
I am sure he does. But its mans interpretation of what it is that he actually says. No different than there are various versions of the bible, because its mans interpratation.
No, it is YOUR interpretation...what you believe and how you interpret it....just like a parent, what you as a parent say to your child is the law, in your own house, now how she interprets that law can be different than how a sibling may interpret it, but what YOU said stays the same. And it really makes no difference how the children "interpret" what you said. One may get it right and one may not, but in the end, isn't it what you said and how YOU meant it that makes it right or wrong? And how you interpret it carries consequences..for the good or the bad. All you as a father want to do is communicate what you want them to do....your heart for them...instruction for them....help for them....whatever....only you can not control HOW they will interpret and then act upon what you said.
It is God's TRUTH....interpreted correctly or incorrectly by each of us and every man for all time....I just want to, as a child of His, try my best to hear what He says the way He meant it to be heard. LOGAN is just a kid interpreting in simplicity, what he knows. I think even when our kids get our instructions wrong, we do admire thier efforts when we know that they were really trying to do what was right, even if they screw it up.
